These terms cover using MiniStore to run an online store and receive orders in WhatsApp. By creating an account or opening a store you accept them.
What the platform does, and what it does not
MiniStore hosts your storefront, keeps your catalog and customers, and turns a shopper's cart into a WhatsApp message addressed to you. That is the whole of it.
- We are not part of your sale. An order placed on your store is an enquiry to you. The contract of sale is between you and your customer, on your terms, at your prices.
- We do not process payments. Prices are shown for information. You and your customer agree how and when payment happens, and you mark an order paid yourself.
- We do not deliver anything. Fulfilment, delivery times, returns and refunds are yours.
- We do not police your catalog. What you sell, what you claim about it and whether you may lawfully sell it are your responsibility.
Your account
You must give a working email address, choose your own strong password, and keep access to your account to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through it. We may ask you to verify your email address before your store can go live.
Your store and your content
Everything you put into your store — product names, descriptions, prices, photographs, your logo and banner — remains yours. You give us permission to store it, resize it, and display it to the people who visit your storefront, which is the only way the service can work.
You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, including any product photograph you did not take yourself. We may remove a picture or a product if it is reported as infringing or unlawful, and will tell you when we do.
Using the platform fairly
Do not use a store to sell anything unlawful, to mislead buyers, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to interfere with the platform or with other merchants. Do not probe, scrape or overload the service, and do not attempt to reach another merchant's data. We may suspend a store that does, and will tell you why.
Plans, invoices and suspension
A store runs on the plan shown in your account, for the period agreed when it was activated. Where a payment is due and is not made, we will contact you before taking any action; if it stays unpaid past the grace period shown in your account, the store may be suspended. A suspended store is not deleted, and its data stays put until you resolve it or ask us to remove it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available and will give notice of planned interruptions where we can. We cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for outages in your hosting, your internet connection, WhatsApp, or Meta's services.
Features may change or be withdrawn as the platform develops. If a change would materially reduce what your plan includes, we will tell you before it applies to you.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may end or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we are required to by law. Before you close your account, export what you need: we can provide your catalog and orders, and your uploaded pictures, on request.
Limits of our responsibility
The platform is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform changes. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform afterwards means you accept the update.
